With only a small team of staff, the Foundation relies on the skills and expertise of the Board of Directors, a high-calibre Advisory Board, and a dynamic CEO to ensure the Foundation has a measurable impact and a sustainable future.
Renee Bowker – Executive Director
Renee is an experienced senior manager and strategic marketer with over 20 years in the telecommunications industry in Australia, Ireland and the USA. As founding CEO of Telco Together, Renee led the development of the Foundation’s strategic programs, including Text Giving, the Skills Exchange, and Small Change Big Change.
Renee transitioned to the Foundation Board as Executive Director in early 2018, with a specific focus on further developing industry-wide initiatives supporting disadvantaged communities within Australia.
Warren Sainsbury – General Manager
Warren is an experienced senior executive with 25 years experience in the data and communications industry, holding various roles over this time including General Manager of a large distributor. He is passionate about building high performing teams and helping people achieve their personal and professional goals.
Warren is keen to develop and deliver strategic growth initiatives to allow Telco Together Foundation, with the Telco Industry, have a greater impact on social initiatives supporting disadvantaged Australians.
Maria Simonelli – Programs Manager
Maria has been working at the intersection of capacity building, program management and partnerships in the non profit sector for over 20 years. Her vision is to create vibrant, creative and sustainable communities through facilitating partnerships across sectors. Her experience includes senior program management roles in Commonwealth and State governments, with 10 years experience as an Executive Manager with an international non-profit.
More recently Maria has been in an entrepreneurial space, co-working hubs and establishing creative enterprises, providing both pro bono and strategic advice.
Cam Foley – Operations Manager
Having completed a Bachelor of Social Science (Environment) in 2003, Cameron continues to build on his passion for social empowerment.
Cameron spent three years working in South India for a Non-Government Organisation, implementing social mobilisation and livelihood projects, supported by Quaker Service Australia/AUSAID, UBS Bank, UNESCO and Wetland International. On his return to Australia, Cameron co-founded an Environmental Consultancy Firm and project managed Environmental Projects for a number of Australia’s blue chip companies.
Caroline Golden – Digital Manager
Caroline has an extensive background in the digital arena, with over 20 years experience in working for a wide range of organisations including education, government, private industry (FMCG) and non-profits.
She is passionate about digital communication and technology. Her happy place is where good design, language, people and information all intersect.
